Enda Kenny To Meet British PM Over Stalled Wind Energy Deal

The Taoiseach has flown to London today to meet with British Prime Minister David Cameron.

The two leaders are expected to discuss trade related issues surrounding the UK's pullback on a previous plan to buy substantial amounts of energy generated by wind farms in Ireland.

Mr Kenny is expected to discuss why the proposed wind energy deal between Ireland and the UK has stalled.

It is thought the at they will also discuss visa arrangements formulated to allow visitors from Asia to travel between the UK and Ireland.

Northern Ireland is also expected to be on today's agenda.

Wind Farm Academy To Boost Donegal
A National Wind Energy Academy is being established at Letterkenny Institute of Technology as part of a €500,000 initiative being backed by the Donegal County Development Board.
