Teenagers Released In St Patrick's Assault Investigation

A file is to be prepared and sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions on two teenagers arrested on connection with the assault of a Brazilian student in Dublin on St Patrick's Day.

Garda identified the 16 and 17-year-old males from a video of the attack that was posted on social media.

In the video a man, later identified as a 30-year-old Brazilian student living in Dublin, is seen lying on the ground being kicked by one teenager. A second then runs up and kicks the man in the face, which appears to knock him unconscious.

The teenagers were question by garda on Thursday and have now been released.

Gardaí Appeal For Missing Man Greg Ward
Gardaí are appealing for help in tracing missing Dublin man Greg Ward. Mr Ward, 31, was last seen in Blanchardstown on Sunday 3 May. He is described as being 6'2" in height and has a vast amount of tattoos and piercings over his body. Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
