Garda Officers And Staff Asked To Complete Anonymous Questionnaire
Rank and file garda officers are being asked for their views on how the force can be improved, in an initiative launched by the Interim Gardaí Commissioner Noirin O'Sullivan.
The initiative comes after the recent spate of controversies surrounding the force and is part of a plan the Ms O'Sullivan has for senior management to "listen and engage" with staff across the organisation.
Garda officers will be asked, anonymously, for their views on five key questions:
• What are the key strengths of the organisation
• Outline the main issues and challenges that they feel need to be addressed
• What improvement opportunities should be prioritised
• What should be in place to implement those improvements
• Do they want to provide any other feedback or insights.
It is understood that staff received the questionnaire on Thursday and have been urged to complete it.
