Man Stabbed In Waterford
A man has been injured after being stabbed in Waterford city on Friday morning.
The victim is believed to be in a critical condition and is being treated at Waterford Regional Hospital.
The attack happened close to John's Lane at around 7am.
One person has been arrested.

Daylight Belfast Mugging Shock
Belfast city centre's image has again been blighted by a violent incident with news today of a woman being mugged yesterday by two thieves. The PSNI said that she was approached by the two men at the junction of Lombard Street and Rosemary Street. It happened in daylight hours at around 2.30pm on Monday.

Former Waterford Crystal workers have received letters confirming settlement payments of €180 million bringing to an end their long-running pension battle. The Department of Social Protection issued the letter on Wednesday, confirming the pension settlement and lump sum payouts.

Former Irish Times Editor Dies
Journalist Ella Shanahan, has passed away in her County Waterford home. Ms Shanahan, 60, was the former London Editor of The Irish Times. She will also be remembered for her work in the RTÉ newsroom in the 1970s.

Toddler Drowns In County Waterford
A toddler has died after drowning on a beach in County Waterford. The incident happened on a beach in Boatsrand at around 7pm on Thursday night. The two-year-old was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Man Dies In County Waterford Road Crash
A man in his 20's has died in a road crash in County Waterford in the early hours of Saturday 08 December. The collision between a car and a lorry happened on the N25 at Bawnard, Ardmore, at around 4.30am. The man was the sole occupant of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene after his vehicle collided with a lorry.
