Man Arrested Over Aggravated Burglary
Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man in connection with an aggravated burglary in the city centre on Tuesday night.
The man was arrested at about 23:00 last night when garda responded to reports of a burglary at a flat on North Great Georges Street. When they arrived officers found the man in the flat armed with a knife.
It is understood that garda disarmed the man after a brief stand-off. No-one was injured in the incident.
The occupants of the flat were not home at the time of the break-in.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Gardaí have seized cocaine with an estimated value of €23,000 in the Roscommon/Longford area. The drugs were seized following a planned search of a premises at Emmet Lodge, Inchicore, Dublin, on Thursday afternoon.
