Donkey Sanctuary Staff Strike Over Redundancies

Staff at the Donkey Sanctuary in Liscarroll, Co Cork have commenced a work stoppage in protest over 16 redundancies made at the organisation.

The staff, represented by SIPTU, are in dispute with management over a decision to terminate 16 welfare staff, saying they believe the redundancies are avoidable.

The work stoppage will last for two hours, and is expected to be repeated for a number of days.
