Sunshine Expected This Bank Holiday Weekend

Met Eireann has is predicting warm and sunny weather over this ban holiday weekend.

Temperatures are expected to reach 20 to 22 degrees in some places.

However, the weather is expected to break on Sunday.

Today will see sunny spells over Connacht and west Munster, and sunshine is expected in Leinster and Ulster.

Saturday is to be warm with sunny spells and cloud. Sunday is to start off bright, however rain is expected later on.

Ireland Weather: Hot And Humid Conditions Expected
The weather is expected to be humid and cloudy in some parts of Ireland today, 20 July. It is to brighten up in most places this afternoon with sunny spells, however there may be a few showers in the western counties. The highest temperature is expected to be 22 degrees, however this will drop to between 12 and 14 degrees overnight.

Met Éireann Issues Yellow Weather Warning
A 'yellow' weather warning has been put in place by Met Éireann as southerly winds are expected to reach speeds of between 45 and 65 km/h with gusts up to 110 km/h during Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday is to be a cloudy and windy day with temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees in strong southwesterly winds.

Temperatures To Reach 19 Degrees This Weekend
Temperatures are expected to reach 19 degrees in places this Saturday, 22 April, with good sunny spells expected across most of the weekend. According to Met Éireann, Friday will also see highs of 18 degrees in places towards the east of the country. While there will be light breezes all weekend, there will also be sunny spells throughout.
