Men Arrested After Gun Seized In Dublin
Two men have been arrested in connection with the discovery of a firearm in Dublin at about 09:15 on Thursday morning.
Officers of the Emergency Response Unit and the Special Detective Unit made the discovery, and say they believe they have foiled a major crime.
The men were arrested in the Glenshane area of Tallaght.
They are being detained under section of 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, at Tallaght Garda station and can be questioned for up to three days.

Men Arrested Over €1m Cocaine And Heroin Find
Heroin and cocaine, with an estimated street value of €1m, has been recovered in a house search in Ballyfermot on Tuesday. Gardaí arrested two men, aged in their 30s, at the scene after officers uncovered 13kgs of cocaine worth an estimated €900,000 and 1.5kgs of heroin, with an estimated value of €225,000.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.
