Men Arrested Over Weapons Find
Gardai have arrested three men in connection with the discovery of two handguns, silencers and ammunition in west Dublin.
Gardai recovered the weapons when they stopped a car on the car on the Newcastle Road at Grange near Adamstown at about 15:00 on Tuesday afternoon.
The men were arrested at the scene.
They are currently detained at Lucan and Ronanstown Garda Stations.

Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.

Men Arrested Over €1m Cocaine And Heroin Find
Heroin and cocaine, with an estimated street value of €1m, has been recovered in a house search in Ballyfermot on Tuesday. Gardaí arrested two men, aged in their 30s, at the scene after officers uncovered 13kgs of cocaine worth an estimated €900,000 and 1.5kgs of heroin, with an estimated value of €225,000.

Gardai Seize Over €2m In Counterfeit Notes
Gardai have seized over €2m in counterfeit notes following an investigation into the activities of dissident republicans. The €50 notes are believed to be in circulation around the country. Printing paper was also discovered at the scene. Three men were arrested during the operation and appeared in court this week.

Two Arrested Following Supermarket Raid
Two men have been arrested following a raid at a supermarket in the Clarehall area in Dublin last night. At around 10.30pm, two men armed with a knife entered the premises on the Malahide Road and threatened two members of staff, before tying them up and attacking them. The pair then left the scene with a sum of cash.

A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of the bodies of two elderly brothers at their home in Castlebar on Wednesday. A home-help for the brothers alerted gardai at around 07:00 after she arrived at their home and found their bodies.
