Revenue Step In To Paris Bakery Dispute

The Revenue has announced that it will intervene in the ongoing dispute at the Paris Bakery in Dublin.

Former workers have been staging a sit-in protest for the last 20 days, after it was announced that the bakery and restaurant was to close.

It is understood that the business owners had refused to speak to staff or pay what was owed in lost wages.

The Revenue has now announced that it will take over the winding up of the business, which gives the former staff access to the insolvency fund.

The ex-employs have now brought their protest to an end.
