Met Eireann Issues High Temperature Warning
Ireland is set to reach temperatures of 28 degrees today, according to Met Eireann.
The highest values are likely to be in midland areas.
A high temperature warning has been issued for Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Galway, Leitrim, Roscommon, Clare, Limerick and Tipperary.
The warning takes effect from 12pm to 7pm.

High Temperature Weather Warning Issued
A Status Yellow high temperature warning has been issued by Met Éireann with temperatures expected to reach 30c. The forecaster issued the high temperature warning at 7am this morning, 19 July and it remains in place until 8.00pm tonight. Temperatures are expected to be highest in the west and midwest.

A weather warning has been issued for low temperatures across Ireland. The Status Yellow warning is in place from 4pm today, 06 February until 4am on Wednesday, 07 February. Met Éireann said: "Extremely cold after dark and into daytime Wednesday.

Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange weather warning for the region. The wind warning was issued on Sunday night (8 March) and is expected to remain in place until at least midnight on Monday. The warning if for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo. The forecaster said: "Southerly winds of mean speed 60-65km/h.

A bomb has been planted on a Dublin-bound bus overnight. Irish Army bomb disposal officers later dealt with the 'viable device' after it were detected close to Dublin. It came just hours before the Queen was due to arrive in the city on an historic four-day visit.

Weather Warning Issued By MET
The Irish meteorological agency have issued a weather warning for today, with gusts reaching up to 140km/hr threatening some areas of the state. Met Eireann said the ferocity of some the westerly winds could lead to structural damage, with winds expected to reach their highest speeds in exposed areas such as Connacht and Ulster.
