Customs Dog Uncovers Over €500,000 Worth Of Drugs At Rosslare Europort
Drugs worth an estimated €534,000 have been uncovered at Rosslare Europort, by a customs dog called Ralph.
2.7kg of heroin, 1.1kg of ecstasy, almost 1kg of cannabis resin and 0.2kg of LSD tablets were seized by revenue officers on Thursday night.
It is understood that the drugs were found hidden in the fuel tank of a UK-registered vehicle that had arrived on a ferry from Cherbourg.
Two arrests were made over the find.

Three Arrested Following Drugs Find In Dublin
Three people have been arrested after cocaine worth €270,000 was seized from a house in Dublin. Gardai raided a property on St. Mark's Avenue in Clondalkin at around 9pm on Tuesday night. A woman, 25, and two men, aged 26 and 53, were arrested at the scene. They are being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station and Lucan Garda Station.

Cannabis with an estimated street value of €900,000 has been seized in separate raids in Limerick, Wexford and Cavan. The Co Limerick search, carried out in an open area at Ballyhahill, Glin, uncovered approximately €400,000 of the drug. No arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.

Man And Woman Held Over Heroin Seizure
A male and female are being questioned after €20,000 worth of heroin was seized from their car in Cork in the early hours this morning. The Cork City Divisional Drugs Squad stopped the car near the Dunkettle roundabout at around 1am. The pair are believed to have been returning from Dublin.

Gardaí have arrested a woman in her 30's after a cannabis haul worth almost €1m was seized by officers in County Louth. A planned search took place in Drogheda on Wednesday 23 January which led to the arrest on suspicion of drug trafficking offences. She was detained at Drogheda Garda Station.
