Body Of Missing Diver Recovered Off Cork Coast
The body of a missing diver has been recovered from the sea off the Cork coast, following the death of another diver on Wednesday.
An emergency operation was launched after a 66-year-old diver was pulled unconscious from the water and a second diver, aged 61, was reported missing, during a charter party expedition.
The unconscious diver was taken to Cork University Hospital, where he died a short time later.
Local divers who joined the search operation recovered the second man's body later on Wednesday afternoon.
An investigation into the men's deaths is underway.

Rescue teams searching for the body of a diver who went missing off the coast of Mayo have recovered a body. The man, who is in his early 20s and from France, disappeared while diving with a friend in the Old Head area near Westport last night. A body has now been found at the same spot where the man went missing.

The body of a diver missing off the Co Galway coast has been recovered this afternoon. The 42-year-old man was with three colleagues diving close to the entrance of Killary Harbour. They raised the alarm when the man failed to surface. Coast Guard, rescue teams, and the Garda diving unit were involved in the search operation.

Garda Investigate Shooting At Co Cork Home
An investigation has been launched after a shot was fired at a house in Co Cork on Monday. It is understood that armed gardaí responded to reports of a shot being fired at a house in Crookstown. When they arrived an elderly man is understood to have come out and spoken with garda officers at about 19:00.

Body Recovered Off Coast Of West Cork
The coastguard have recovered the body of man who died in a swimming incident off the coast of West Cork. It is understood that a member of the public spotted the body floating in the water in Roaringwater Bay near Aughadown Pier between Skibbereen and Ballydehob at about around 13:00 on Wednesday.

Body Recovered During Search In Cork
A body has been discovered during a search in west Cork for two tourists who have not been seen since Saturday afternoon. The coastguard is continuing its search for the second man. The two men, one German and one Dutch, had been staying in a holiday home. They are believed to have gone for a walk along Sheep's Head.
