Ireland's Largest Theatre Up For Sale

Property company CBRE has put the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on the market with a guide price of €20m.

CBRE have been instructed to conduct the sale by receivers, Grant Thornton.

The theatre, in Dublin's docklands, is Ireland's largest and opened in 2010 as the Grand Central. It was renamed in March 2012 as part of a naming rights agreement, which is in place until 2018.

Dublin Theatre Rebranded In €4.3m Deal
Dublin Grand Canal Theatre, only recently opened, will be re-branded next year after signing a new sponsorship deal. The 18-month-old arts centre will be renamed the Bord Gais Energy Theatre. The energy provider will invest millions in advertising for the theatre as part of a six-year partnership.
