DSCC Strike Called Off
Strike action due to take place today at South Dublin County Council has been suspended.
IMPACT have called off the strike after they accepted a proposal from the Labour Relations Commission in a dispute over bonuses paid to council staff for performing additional duties.
The LRC proposals see the commission leading a review of the staffing structure at the council, with the management and union each making submissions on a workforce plan.
The review is to be completed by 05 September.
