Investigation Underway After Man's Body Discovered In Rathfarnham
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a man's body in a house in Rathfarnham in Dublin.
Gardaí report that the body of a 42-year-old man was found at his home in Marley Court at about 17:00 on Thursday.
It is understood that the man's father made the discovery and that the man's body was laying at the foot of the stairs.
Gardaí say that the man had injuries to his back that were "not consistent with a fall".
According to reports, it is suspected that the man had been stabbed.
The body remained at the scene overnight pending a forensic examination.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out later today.

Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
