Bodies Of Boy, 9, And Man Found

The bodies of two people have been found in Co Sligo.

It is understood the victims, a boy aged nine, and a 21-year-old man, were brothers.

According to Gardaí, the boy was discovered inside a property at Banada, Tourlestrane, shortly after 7.30pm on Sunday. He was found with stab wounds.

He was taken by air ambulance to Sligo Regional Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.

The body of the 21-year-old was found at a shed at the same location.

The State Pathologist's Office has been notified and the scene has been preserved pending a technical examination.

Bodies Of A Man And His Daughter Found On Co Cork Beach
The bodies of a man and his three-year-old daughter have been found on a beach n west Cork. Gardai received a call from a farm at Foilnamuck, Ballydehob, just before midnight. A major search operation was launched and the bodies were recovered after a three-hour search.

Bodies Found At Dublin Home After Suspected Gas Leak
The bodies of a man and a woman have been discovered in a house in Dublin today. The remains, aged in their 60s, were found at Drumalee Court at approximately 1pm this afternoon. It is believed there may have been a gas leak. The bodies remain at the scene and a State pathologist has been notified.

Two Bodies Found In Burning Car
Two bodies have been discovered in a burning car in Dundalk at about 11.15pm last night. The Fire Services were called to extinguish a fire in a care at Ravensdale Park, when the bodies were found. The car was extensively damaged and Gardai in Dundalk are currently investigating the circumstances.
