Cannabis Cultivation Facility Uncovered In Co Galway
Gardaí in Co Galway have arrested two men in connection with the discovery of 120 cannabis plants during a search of a house at Kilgarve Court in Ballinsloe.
The discovery was made when garda searched the house on Sunday morning, also recovering a quantity of harvested cannabis.
Garda estimated that the drugs were worth €100,000.
The men, both aged in their 30s, are being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Ballinasloe and Loughrea Garda Stations, where they can be held for up to seven days.

Arrest As €100k Cannabis Seized In Co Sligo
A man is under arrest over the discovery of suspected cannabis worth an estimated €100,000 in Sligo. Gardaí uncovered the drugs, along with a sum of cash, during a search of a property in Ballymote on Thursday evening, 16 January. A male in his 30s was arrested and remains in custody at Ballymote Garda Station.

Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Three men have been arrested in connection with a major cannabis seizure in Dublin. Herbal cannabis worth an estimated €2m was discovered at an industrial unit in Clondalkin. The men, aged 32, 49 and 57, were arrested at the scene are being held at Clondalkin and Ballyfermot Garda Stations.
