Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses To Castlegar Road Crash
Gardaí in Co Galway have reported the death of a woman in her 70s following a car accident in Castlegar.
It is understood that the woman was involved in a two-car collision at about midday on Thursday at Two Mile Ditch on Tuam Road.
The five occupants of the second vehicle, understood to include three children, are being treated at Galway University Hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800-666-111 or any garda station.

Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Dublin
An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

A woman in her late 30s has died after a road crash in County Galway on Tursday. Gardaí at Ballinasloe, Co Galway said they were investigating the single vehicle fatal road traffic collision, which occurred at Colemanstown, Menlough at 4.30pm.
