Met Éireann Warn Of More Heavy Rain
A warning has been issued for further heavy rain today and tomorrow by Met Éireann.
Torrential rain over the weekend caused flooding in several parts across the country, affecting sporting events and the final day of the Dublin Horse Show.
Met Éireann said that while the worst of the weather is over, some further heavy showers are expected on Monday afternoon and into Tuesday.
Following this condition are said to improve as temperatures rise.

Winter Weather Arrives Across Ireland
After a drop in temperature, gale force winds, heavy rainfall and even a touch of snow the island of Ireland has now seen flights cancelled, motorists stranded and homes flooded. Severe winds at Dublin Airport have resulted in a number of flights being grounded or diverted to Shannon or Belfast Airports last night.

Met Éireann Issues Yellow Weather Warning
Met Éireann has issued a 'yellow' weather warning for all 26 counties. The warning for severe winds has been put in place until 4pm today, 10 December. In a statement Met Éireann said: :Wet and windy this morning with outbreaks of rain, heavy and squally at times.

Met Éireann are predicting temperatures to rise between 18 and 22 degrees this weekend and into next week. The Irish Meteorological Service also issued a 'moderate' sunburn warning, which is expected to rise over the next few days. However, heavy thundery showers are predicted to break over Munster and Connacht during the weekend.

Temperatures To Reach 19 Degrees This Weekend
Temperatures are expected to reach 19 degrees in places this Saturday, 22 April, with good sunny spells expected across most of the weekend. According to Met Éireann, Friday will also see highs of 18 degrees in places towards the east of the country. While there will be light breezes all weekend, there will also be sunny spells throughout.
