Gardaí Assist UK Police Searching For Missing Irishman
Police in London are looking for 37-year-old John Dowdall, an Irishman from Co Clare, who is understood to have gone missing from a hotel, leaving medication and valuables behind.
It is understood that officers from the Metropolitan Police in London are working with gardaí from Co Clare to try and locate Mr Dowdall, who is known to have travelled to London on 31 July.
He has not been seen since Thursday 07 August.
According to reports it was staff at the hotel who contact police, after being concerned when they found Mr Dowdall's belongings in his room, including his medication for diabetes, phone, passport and wallet.
Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Mr Dowdall are asked to contact police.

Boil Water Warning Issued In Co Clare
A warning has been issued in parts of Co Clare over tap water following the discovery of increased manganese levels in the water supply. The alert advises residents in the Kildysart Public and Coolmeen Group Water schemes not to drink tap water until further notice and has been issued by Clare County Council, the HSE and Irish Water.

PSNI Cuts Uproar

Firefighters Tackle Wildfires In Co Kerry And Co Clare
Firefighters from Killarney, Castleisland, Kenmare and Killorglin were called to tackle wildfires overnight at Killarney National Park. Around 100 acres at the foot of Mangerton Mountain are believed to have been badly damaged in the blaze. A garda investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched.
