Gardaí Appeal For Information On Fatal Co Meath Road Crash
Gardaí in Co Meath have reported the death of a 46-year-old man in a to-vehicle crash near Kells.
It is understood that the man was driving a van that collided with a lorry at Johnsbrook on the N52 from Kells to Mullingar, at about 10:30 this morning.
Emergency services pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The crash site has been preserved pending a forensic examination.
Gardaí have asked for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Kells Garda Station on 046-9280820, the Garda Confidential telephone line on 01-666111 or any garda station.

Garda have detained a man in connection with a fatal road crash in Co Mayo on Sunday, 08 May. A 41-year-old motorcyclist was killed when his bike collided with a van on the N26 at Ballinahaglush at around 3.45pm. A man was arrested and is being detained at Ballina Garda Station.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The road has been closed and diversions have been put in place. Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
