Woman Hands 100-Year-Old Explosive Into Gardaí Station
A woman has handed in a 100-year-old explosive device she found in her garage.
Trim Gardaí station was immediately evacuated at about 22:00 on Thursday when an elderly woman handed in an explosive device she had found while clearing out her garage.
The device was taken into the station's car park and roads in the immediate area were closed.
Army Bomb Disposal experts removed the device for examination. It is expected to be destroyed today.

Explosive Device Made Safe In Dublin
An explosive device was made safe by the Army early on Tuesday morning in Dublin. A bomb disposal team arrived at Cushlawn Park, Tallaght, at 2.35am to deal with the object outside a private home. Local people were evacuated, and the scene was declared safe at 3.20am.

Two men have been arrested following the discovery of a suspected explosive device in a car stopped in Leinster. Gardaí from the Crime and Security section and the Special Detective Unit, stopped the car on the Naas Road, inbound just before the Long Mile Road junction, at approximately 19:30 on Wednesday evening.
