Man Killed In Co Limerick Road Crash
Gardaí have reported the death of a 25-year-old man in a single-vehicle road crash in Co Limerick.
The man died after the car he was driving collided with a pole at Ballyphillip in Banogue, on the N20 shortly before midnight.
The road is closed pending a forensic examination and gardaí have appealed to any witnesses to contact them at Newcastle West Garda Station on 069-20650, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any garda station.

Man Questioned Over Fatal Road Crash In Co Mayo
Garda have detained a man in connection with a fatal road crash in Co Mayo on Sunday, 08 May. A 41-year-old motorcyclist was killed when his bike collided with a van on the N26 at Ballinahaglush at around 3.45pm. A man was arrested and is being detained at Ballina Garda Station.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses of a fatal road accident in Co Kerry. A 24-year-old man died when the car he was driving hit a wall on the N69 Tralee-Listowel Road in Glenballyma in Tralee. The accident happened at about 21:45 on Saturday. A post-mortem is due to be carried out today.

Road Death Toll Growing
Gardaí in Borris, Co Carlow are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Ballyine, Co Carlow at 12.45am this morning. A man of 68 was injured when the car in which he was the sole occupant collided with a wall. He was brought to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

Gardaí have reported that an 18-year-old man has died following a road accident in Co Tipperary. The crash happened at about 21:00 on Sunday night at Junction 22 near Roscrea, on the M7. The 18-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem is to be carried out at University Hospital Limerick.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
