Donegal Man Negative For Ebola Virus
Tests carried out on the body of a man in Donegal have proven negative for Ebola.
The body of Mr Dessie Quinn (43) was found at a house in Donegal town on Thursday. It is understood that the he had recently returned to Ireland from working in Sierra Leone.
His body was taken to Letterkenny Hospital for tests, which have proven negative for the Ebola virus.
Infection procedures put in place at the hospital as a precautionary measure, will be lifted, the HSE said.

Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

A series of public hearings are to be held to discuss the ongoing issues with Waterford Mortuary, after a number of pathologists condemned the condition of the facility. Consultants claimed dead bodies had been left on trolleys at the University Hospital Waterford, causing body fluids to leak on the floor.

The HSE has confirmed that Ebola has been ruled out after a woman underwent tests at a Dublin hospital following an Ebola scare. A woman was rushed to the Mater Hospital this morning with symptoms similar to Ebola. In a statement the HSE said: "All appropriate infection control procedures are being taken by all relevant healthcare personnel.

Investigation Launched Into Galway Body Find
Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.
