Missing Irish Student Found Safe In Poland
An Irish student who has been missing since Wednesday has been found.
Aidan Lynch, 20, from Rochestown in Co Cork was found this morning.
He had been on holidays in Krakow, Poland, with a group of nine people at the time.
The alert was raised after Aidan did not make the flight home.

Body Found During Search For Missing Irish Man In Poland
The Department of Foreign Affairs have said that Polish police searching for missing Irish soccer fan James Nolan have recovered a body. It is understood the body is that of a man but has not yet been identified. Identification is expected later today.

Life Sentence For Man Found Guilty Of Dublin Murder
A Dublin man has been given a life sentence after he was found guilty of shooting dead a father-of-one who sat as a passenger in a parked car. 27-year-old Jonathan Douglas, aka Yuka, had pleaded not guilty at the Central Criminal Court to the murder of Aidan Bryne at Drumalee Avenue on February 20th, 2010.

A 21-year-old man is appearing at Dundalk District Court today (Wednesday), charged in connection with the murder of Aidan Myers in 2006. Thirty-seven-year-old Aidan Myers, of Cox's Demesne, Dundalk, was killed by a gang who attempted to hijack a car in which he was travelling in December 2006.

Skull Found By Workmen Found To Be Human Remains
The State Pathologist has ruled that a skull found by workmen in Swords on Thursday is from a human. A preliminary examination has established that the skull is that of a human male. It is understood that a forensic anthropologist is being brought in to try and identify the deceased. Police are also checking missing persons files.

Body Of Missing Woman Frankie Devlin Found
Gardaí have reported that the body of Frankie Devlin was recovered on Wednesday 9 October. Ms Devlin (67) was reported missing on Saturday 5 October and a search operation had been ongoing. The discovery was made on the same day that garda had renewed an appeal for information on the whereabouts of Ms Devlin.
