Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Motorcycle Crash
Gardaí in Co Louth have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road crash involving a motorcycle and a tractor.
It is understood the motorcycle collided with a tractor at about 17:40 on Thursday on the Ballymakenny Road.
A 39-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The scene has been closed for a technical examination, and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí have asked for witnesses to contact Drogheda Garda Station on 041-9874200, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Witnesses Sought To Fatal Motorcycle Collision
Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to a serious collision in Co Cork on Tuesday evening. At about 8pm, a man aged in his 40s, died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car at Lough Beg, Ringaskiddy. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and has since been taken to Cork University Hospital for a post-mortem.

Two gardaí motorcycle officers are being treated in hospital after being involved in a collision in Co Sligo. It is understood that the officers were responding to a road traffic accident on the Manorhamilton Road when they were involved in a collision. A 58-year-old male was seriously injured when his car crashed into a ditch at Kilmullen Lane. Paramedics treated the man at the scene, however, he was pronounced a short time later.
