Six Injured In Dublin House Fire

Two adults and four children are being treated in hospital for smoke inhalation and burns following a house fire in Dublin.

It is understood that the blaze was reported at a house on Captain's Road at about 02:40 on Tuesday morning.

The six people, believed to be members of the same family, were taken to St James' Hospital and Our Lady's Children's Hospital. Four needed treatment for smoke inhalation, while two are being treated for burn injuries.

An 87-year-old woman has been rescued from her burning home after an arson attack in County Cork. A Garda and a member of the Garda Reserve are also being treated in hospital in Cork after the woman's house was set on fire early this morning.

Four Injured In Apartment Fire
Four people, including a child, are receiving hospital treatment after being injured in a fire in Balbriggan, Co Dublin. Emergency services were call at around 01:00 on Friday to an apartment at Landy's Court, Millstreet. It is understood that two adults and a child were in the apartment.

Four adults and two children are being treated in hospital for the effects of smoke inhalation following a fire at a house in Dublin city centre. Dublin Fire Service (DFS) said it was called to a fire at a house in Gloucester Place, off Sean McDermott Street, at about 05:00 on Tuesday morning.

Dublin House Fire Victim 'Critical'
A man in his 50s is in a critical condition in hospital following a house fire in Dublin yesterday afternoon. The victim was taken from the house at Decies Road in Ballyfermot with severe burns and is currently being treated at St James's Hospital.

Four Rescued From Dublin House Fire
Four people are being treated in hospital for smoke inhalation after being rescued from a house fire in Dublin in the early hours of Tuesday morning. According to reports the fire broke out at a house on Monksfield Grove in Clondalkin at around 02:00. Three units from Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene along with two ambulances.
