Gardaí Release CCTV Images Of Man Who Stabbed Dublin Footballer
Gardaí in Dublin have released CCTV images of the man who attacked footballer Jonny Cooper in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Officers investigating the attack, in which Cooper was repeatedly stabbed in the head and shoulders, have appealed for information on the attacker.
Mr Cooper, 24, was attacked on Sunday morning as he walked home on Dorset Street Upper.
It is understood the man demanded Mr Cooper's wallet, launching the attack when he refused to hand it over.
Gardaí have said that finding the attacker is of "vital importance".

Missing 25-Year-Old Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A 25-year-old man who was missing from Harcourt Street in Dublin has been found safe and well, Gardaí have reported. Simon Quinn was reported missing after last being seen at around 2.30am on Monday, 30 July. However, Mr Quinn has now been found and Gardaí said they wish to thank the media and public for their assistance.

Two Arrested In Cabra Death Investigation
Gardaí investigating the death of a 21-year-old man found outside a pub in the early hours of Tuesday morning have arrested two men. Jason Saunders, of Fassaugh Avenue, was found outside the Cabra House pub suffering serious head injuries at about 7:30am on Tuesday.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Man Attacked In Dublin
A man is being treated in hospital after being stabbed in Dublin on Sunday night. The 29-year-old man was taken to the Beaumount Hospital following the attack which happened on Glin Road, Coolock. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Gardaí in Dublin are searching for three people in connection with an alleged sexual assault at Cobra Park on Sunday. It is understood that a woman alleges she was attacked in the park, near Phibsborough, at about 19:45 on Sunday night. The woman is being treated at the Rotunda Hospital's sexual assault unit.
