Topaz To Create Over 100 New Jobs
A total of 110 new jobs are to be created by fuel retailer Topaz.
The service station is to open two new facilities in Dublin and Laois.
The stations will be at Clonshaugh in Dublin and at Junction 3 on the Dublin-Cork motorway near Ballacolla in Laois.
The stations are expected to be operational by January 2015.

Status Yellow Rainfall Warning Issued Across 11 Counties
Met Éireann have issued a Status Yellow weather warning for rain across 11 counties. The warning, which came into effect at 7am this morning, is in place for Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan. The warning will remain in place until 6am tomorrow, when it will be reviewed.

Water Conservation Orders Lifted As Rainfall Increases
Irish Water has announced the water conservation orders have been lifted in the Southern, Eastern and Midlands regions. The areas that have had their order lifted include: Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Cork, Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny, Carlow, Laois, Offaly, Wicklow, Meath, Westmeath, Louth and Dublin.

Galway Firm To Create 100 New Jobs
A shed manufacturing company is to create 100 new jobs in Tuam, Co Galway. Steeltech Sheds is to relocate its business from Headford Road in Galway to the former Coca-Cola factory in Tuam and will recruit new staff between now and 2017. The company currently employs 100 staff at bases in Cork, Dublin, Carlow and Athlone.

LinkedIn To Create 200 New Jobs In Dublin
Around 200 new jobs are to be created by LinkedIn in Dublin. The additional roles will include new roles in sales & sales support, customer operations, and engineering. The engineering team is focused on natural language processing and machine learning, in which Dublin is increasingly a 'centre of expertise'.

75 Jobs Created In New 'Connect' Scheme
A new employment initiative, which offers financial rewards to individuals who bring new project to Ireland, will create 75 new jobs in Laois, Galway and Longford. Under the scheme, 50 jobs will be created by Magni Group, with a new manufacturing plant for automotive coating near Portarlington, Co Laois.
