Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Co Limerick Accident
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal accident in Hospital, Co Limerick, in which a 44-year-old man was killed.
The man was walking on Main Street in the town at about 2am on Tuesday morning when he was hit by a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is understood no one else was injured in the incident.
Garda have closed the street pending a forensic examination.
Any one who witnessed the accident is asked to contact Bruff Garda Station.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Moyne Road Accident
Garda have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic accident at Moyneard, Moyne, Co Tipperary on Tuesday 12 January. A 39-year-old female pedestrian died after being struck by a van on the Moynead Cross to Shanballyduff Cross Road at about 16:10. It is understood the driver of the van, a 55-year-old man, was uninjured.

A male cyclist in his 30's was fatally injured when he was involved in a collision with a car at about 11:15 on Sunday, 15 November. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Kerry General Hospital.
