Bomb Threats Made Against Minister For The Environment

Threats made against the Minister for the Environment have been described as "shocking and disgraceful".

It is understood an unknown woman phoned the office of Minister Alan Kelly and made several bomb threats during what is said to have been an "abusive" phone call.

Speaking to RTÉ News, Mr Kelly said the phone call and threats were "very traumatic and upsetting". The matter has been referred to garda, Minister Kelly said.

A spokesperson for the department said the threats have been linked to water charges.

Govt Approves Delivery Of 500 Modular Homes
The government has approved the delivery of 500 modular homes across Dublin, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Alan Kelly, has announced. Minister Kelly said that the aim is to have 22 modular units in place by December, with a further 128 to follow in a fast-tracked procurement.

Dáil May Sit For Further Debate On Water Services Bill
