100 New Jobs Announced In Ennis

One hundred new jobs are to be created by specialist healthcare recruitment firm TTM Healthcare, as part of a €5m investment.

The jobs will be created over the next three years with the majority being based at the firm's Ennis headquarters. However, some staff will also be sought in Dublin and Cork.

The jobs will be in the areas of compliance and recruitment consulting and sales, the company said.

Emergency Departments At Two More Hospitals To Close
24-hour emergency departments are to be closed at two more hospitals as part of a major restructuring to the States hospital services. According to the Irish Independent, the emergency departments at St Columcille's Hospital in Loughlinstown, Dublin and Navan Hospital in Co Meath will close, to be replaced by local injury units.
