Met Éireann Issues Yellow Weather Warning
A 'yellow' weather warning has been put in place by Met Éireann as southerly winds are expected to reach speeds of between 45 and 65 km/h with gusts up to 110 km/h during Tuesday and Wednesday.
Tuesday is to be a cloudy and windy day with temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees in strong southwesterly winds. It will become much colder in the evening and winds will veer westerly, becoming very strong in the northwest.
On Tuesday night the temperature will drop to between zero and 4 degrees and there will be strong to gale force westerly winds.
Wednesday will be very windy with widespread gales and a possibility of storm force winds for a time in parts of the west and north.
Afternoon temperatures will drop to 5 to 9 degrees and it will feel cold in the wind.
On Thursday it will be cold and blustery with sunny spells at first and scattered showers. Friday will be very cold and windy. Highest temperatures will peak at 3 to 7 degrees in in blustery northwesterly winds.

Met Éireann Issue Yellow Warning For Wind And Rain
A yellow warning has been issued by Met Éireann for heavy rain and strong winds across most parts of Ireland from Friday evening until Sunday. The forecaster has predicted between 60 and 90mm of rain in coastal and mountainous areas. Temperatures will range between 15 to 18 degrees tomorrow, dropping to 13 to 15 degrees on Sunday.

Temperatures are expected to reach 19 degrees in places this Saturday, 22 April, with good sunny spells expected across most of the weekend. According to Met Éireann, Friday will also see highs of 18 degrees in places towards the east of the country. While there will be light breezes all weekend, there will also be sunny spells throughout.

Temperatures To Reach High 20s Over The Weekend
A heatwave is set to hit Ireland with temperatures projected to reach the high 20s over the weekend. According to Met Éireann the sunshine is expected to stay into next week with patchy clouds. Saturday, 23 June, is expected to be dry with soaring temperatures in the afternoon, especially in the south and west of the country.
