Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Dublin Road Crash
Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses of a fatal road traffic collision in Walkinstown on Sunday afternoon.
Garda said that a 44-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured when he collided with a car on Ballymount Road Lower at about 14:35.
He was pronounced dead a short time later at Tallaght Hospital.
A forensic examination was conducted at the scene and garda have asked for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Crumlin Garda Station 01-6666200 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.

A male pedestrian was fatally injured when he was hit by a car on the N2 dual carriageway at about 3am. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown.

The accident happened at about 04:30 on Friday at the junction of Nangor Road and the Outer Ring Road in Clondalkin. It is understood the woman's car hit a lamp post. She was taken to Tallaght Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Garda have detained a man in connection with a fatal road crash in Co Mayo on Sunday, 08 May. A 41-year-old motorcyclist was killed when his bike collided with a van on the N26 at Ballinahaglush at around 3.45pm. A man was arrested and is being detained at Ballina Garda Station.
