Met Éireann Warning As More Snow Expected

Met Éireann has warned drivers that while conditions have improved it is only expected to be a temporary respite with widespread snow set to return on Tuesday night.

A number of roads across the State have been closed by heavy snowfall, causing major disruptions in most counties.

Motorists using secondary roads are urged to drive with caution due to compacted snow and black ice.
