Snow To Return On Wednesday
Met Éireann has warned of more sleet and snow expected to return on Wednesday of this week.
The forecaster said that "several centimetres" of snow is expected across the country, with "bitterly cold" weather to remain through the end of the week and into the weekend.
Temperatures are expected to drop to minus 4 and Wednesday's weather forecast is to be cold, blustery and showery.

Snow Set For Return
Met Eireann is forecasting the return of snow, which is expected to engulf the entire island along with subzero temperatures. According the a weather warning issued by the Irish Met office today, very cold wintry weather will develop across Ireland during Thursday, sweeping down from the north, and leaving a severe frost and ice on Thursday night.

Met Éireann Warns Of Continuing Bad Weather
Forecaster Met Éireann has warned of continuing bad weather conditions with outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow expected throughout Monday. As overnight temperatures dropped into minus figures, the forecaster warned people of widespread ice and frost, saying that it would impact those travelling.

Met Eireann has issued a status orange wind warning for the south and southwest of Ireland, taking in counties Wexford, Galway, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford. This is in addition to a status orange warning for snow and ice in Co Donegal.

A major Government briefing has been arranged for this morning as another bout of severe weather engulf the State. A weather warning from the Met Office said very cold wintry weather would continue into next week with ice by day and by night.
