Accenture To Create 250 New Jobs

250 new jobs are expected to be created by technology services company Accenture by the end of the fiscal year.

The new roles "span a wide range of skills and capabilities and offer opportunities for candidates from experienced executives to entry level, including graduates," the Department of Jobs has said.

"There is a wealth of talent in this country, and we are pleased to offer the opportunity to develop careers with Accenture," said Alastair Blair, Accenture’s country managing director in Ireland.

"We are seeking highly motivated, skilled individuals who share our passion and commitment to client service. Professionals who join our team will have access to the latest technology and will receive training and professional development opportunities to expand their business, industry and technical skills."

Jobs Minister Richard Bruton said: "Technology is at the heart of our Action Plan for Jobs. Not only is the ICT sector a key area of growth, but new technologies are changing business models and providing opportunities for new products and services across every sector of the economy. Today’s announcement that Accenture, a world-leading company in this area, is growing its operations in Ireland and creating 250 jobs is a further great boost for this sector. I wish Alastair and the team every success and look forward to continuing to work with them in the future."
