Investigation Launches After Man Falls To His Death At Mater Hospital
An investigation has been launched into the death of a man who fell from the fifth floor of the Mater Hospital in Dublin on Wednesday morning.
The 40-year-old died after falling into a courtyard at the hospital, on the city's North Circular Road, at about 01:00 in the early hours.
He was found on the ground with extensive head and leg injuries.
It is being reported that the man had a history of mental illness.
Currently, it is not thought that the death is suspicious.
Gardai and the Mater Hospital are carrying out investigations.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.
