Two Arrested After Cannabis Seizure In Limerick
Two men are being questioned by gardaí after cannabis, worth almost €500,000, was discovered in Co Limerick on Wednesday night.
The men, aged 36 and 39, were arrested after gardaí carried out searches on four houses.
Approximately 400 cannabis plants and cannabis herb was found at different stages of growth. Lighting and heating equipment was also seized.
The men are being questioned at Newcastlewest and Henry Street garda stations.

Cannabis worth an estimated €100,000 has been uncovered in a wooded area in Co Cavan. Gardaí confirmed they made the discovery on Tuesday at Drumgill. No one has been arrested in connection with the find, gardaí have said, adding that the investigation is ongoing.

Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Men Arrested Over Three Cannabis Seizures
Gardaí investigating three cannabis seizures in Co Offaly in the past week have arrested two men. Garda officers discovered cannabis plants worth an estimated €250,000 at a premises in Clonmore, Edenderry. This was followed by the seizure of cannabis plants worth an estimated €160,000 found in a vehicle near Tullamore on Thursday.

Woman Charged Over €75k Cannabis Seizure
A 34 year-old woman is due in court following the discovery of cannabis worth €75,000 in Athlone. The suspect is detained at Athlone Garda Station. She will appear before Athlone District Court today, Monday 20 January.
