Four More Arrests Made In Water Charge Protest Investigation

Gardaí investigating an anti-water charge protest in Jobstown last November have made further arrests.

Four men were arrested on Wednesday morning. It follows the arrest of four others on Tuesday in connection with the protest, which saw the Tánaiste Joan Burton trapped in her car for more than two hours.

The arrested men are being held at Tallaght and Rathfarnham Garda Stations.

Gardaí said the men are helping with their enquiries.
