Talks Resolved In Mullingar Hospital Dispute

Talks between the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) and the Health Service Executive (HSE) have resolved following a long running dispute at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Strike action was planned at the hospital in protest over ongoing staffing problems, however talks between the INMO and HSE have agreed that 90 posts at the hospital will be filled.

Fifty five of the posts are to replace staff that have left, and the remaining 35 are new posts.
