Firefighters March Through Dublin Over Proposed Crew Cuts
Firefighters have held a demonstration in Dublin in a dispute over proposed cuts to crew numbers.
A march left Parnell Square at 12pm and made its way to the Government Buildings from members of Siptu and Impact.
Siptu, which represents around 3,000 full-time and part-time firefighters, has alleged there could be a 33% cut in the size of some crews attending fires, which it blames on the "ongoing implementation of the Keeping Communities Safe document issued by the Department of Environment in 2013".
