Ryanair Traffic Increases For February

Ryanair has published its customer and load factor statistics for the month of February.

For the month, traffic increased by 29% to 5.8m customers, while the airline's load factor grew by 11% points to 89%.

In addition, its rolling annual traffic to February increased 9% to 89.1m customers.

Ryanair said the increase in numbers was as a result of lower fares, a stronger forward booking strategy and the continued success of its 'Always Getting Better' (AGB) customer programme.

Kenny Jacobs, Ryanair Chief Marketing Officer, added: "With our new routes, increased frequencies and Business Plus service, Ryanair continues to deliver so much more than just the lowest fares in every market we operate in."
