Body Of Missing 22-Year-Old Man Discovered
The body of a 22-year-old man who was reported missing has been found during a search operation in Derryhassan, Ballyconnell, on Saturday.
Donal Greene was last seen in Derryhassan at approximately 05:00 on the morning of Saturday 28 February 2015.
Gardaí at Ballyconnell Garda Station renewed an appeal last week for the public's assistance in helping locate him, but a subsequent search discovered Mr Greene's body in the County Cavan town.
An Garda Siochana has thanked the public for its assistance in this matter.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

A search of the home and garden of a murdered former detective garda has entered its second day. Excavation work began on Tuesday morning of the back patio area, garda believe another body may be buried under it.

Public Hearings To Be Held Over Waterford Mortuary Concerns
A series of public hearings are to be held to discuss the ongoing issues with Waterford Mortuary, after a number of pathologists condemned the condition of the facility. Consultants claimed dead bodies had been left on trolleys at the University Hospital Waterford, causing body fluids to leak on the floor.

Garda in Kildare have appealed for help in identifying the location where a man was killed, after his body was recovered from the Grand Canal. The man's body was found in the water on Saturday 16 January, however, Garda believe that he was killed at another location.
