Elderly Couple Found Dead In Churchtown
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of the bodies of an elderly man and woman in Churchtown, Dublin, on Monday night.
Gardaí found the bodies after responding to a report of concern for the man and woman's welfare.
The bodies have been removed to Tallaght Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
Gardaí said they are waiting for the post-mortem results but are not currently treating the deaths as suspicious.

Two Bodies Discovered In County Limerick
Two bodies have been discovered at a house in County Limerick. The bodies, of a man and a woman, were found in the bedroom of a house in Boolaglass at around 3am on Monday. The State Pathologist has been notified and an examination is expected to take place. Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Man Dies In Kilkenny House Fire
An elderly man has died in a fire at a house in Kilkenny city, early this on Wednesday morning. The fire broke out at around 4.20am. Four other people were in the house also, but it is understood that they escaped injury. Gardaí are investigating the incident and have preserved the scene for examination.

Elderly Brothers Found Dead In Castlebar
Two elderly brothers have been found beaten to death at their home in Castlebar. The bodies of the two pensioners were discovered at around 07:00 this morning at their home on New Antrim Street. The deaths are being treated as suspicious. It is reported that one body was found at the front door of the property and the second inside the house.

Gardaí are investigating the cause of a house fire in Stoneybatter on Sunday that killed a 53-year-old man and left a 90-year-old woman in hospital. According to reports a relative was alerted to the situation at the house when the elderly woman activated her Medi Alert panic button.
