RTÉ Launch Five Week 'Public Service Statement' Consultation
A five-week consultation process on how RTÉ is fulfilling its public service commitments has got underway.
The consultation will help inform the public-service broadcasters new 'public service statement', which it is required to produce every five years.
The statement outlines the principles that the broadcaster, which is part-funded by a licence fee, will follow and the activities it will undertake in order to execute its commitments.
Anyone wishing to respond to the consultation can fill out a questionnaire found at rte.ie/about.

Nursing And Midwifery Students To Benefit From Bursary Increase
Means-tested elements of bursary support for nursing and midwifery students are to be increased by 15% for the 2022/23 academic year, Health Minister Robin Swann has announced. The increase will be applied to the dependants allowance for spouse or first child; the allowance for subsequent children; and parents learning allowance.
