Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Two Fatal Road Accidents
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to two fatal road accidents on Saturday.
A 62-year-old man died when the car he was a passenger in left the road on the M50 at about 12:45am between Junction 10 Ballymount and Junction 11 Tallaght.
The 60-year-old female driver is in a critical condition in Tallaght Hospital.
Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to contact Terenure Garda Station on 01 6666400, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any garda station.
And in Bandon, Co Cork, a 30-year-old man died following a two car collision at Coolfadda at about 18:00 on Saturday.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who was travelling on the R586 at Coolfadda between 5.40pm and 6pm to contact them at Bandon Garda Station on 023 8852200, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any garda station.

Garda Injured In Cork
A garda has been injured while on duty in Cork on Monday night. The sergeant has been treated in hospital but has been discharged. He was bringing a patient, aged in his 20s, to the Mercy University Hospital just after 6pm. The garda is based at Gurranabraher Garda Station.

On Sunday, 12 July, a 21-year-old man was killed when a car collided with a bollard in Burnfoot, Burncrana. The 18-year-old driver and another 21-year-old passenger were injured and are being treated in hospital.
