Garda Investigate Co Kildare Field Body Find
An investigation has been launched into the discovery of a man's body in a field in Co Kildare on Wednesday afternoon.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out today, but garda have said that initial investigations suggest the man "died violently".
It is understood while the victim's identity has not been officially confirmed, garda believe it to be a 20-year-old man who has been missing from his Kinnegad home for the last ten days.
The scene where the body was found, in Cornamucklagh, Broadford, remains sealed for forensic examination.

Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Investigation Launched Into Galway Body Find
Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

Missing Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 24-year-old man has been found "safe and well". Alex Sherwin had been reported missing on Sunday, with garda issuing a public appeal for assistance. No information on Mr Sherwin's whereabouts have been released, but garda said the investigation had now ended. They thanked the public for their help.

Man Arrested In Connection With Kilkenny Death
Garda investigating the death of Anthony Barrett have arrested a Kilkenny man. Mr Barrett, who was in his 40s and originally from Castlecomer, was found with fatal injuries at a house in Fatima Place on the evening of 7 March.
