Dublin School Warns Parents After Pupils Approached By Men In Car
A Dublin secondary school has written to parents after two pupils were allegedly approached by two men in a black car last week.
According to reports the pupils of Hartstown Community College were approached by the men in a black car at about 20:30 as they walked on Hartstown Road.
It is understood it is the second incident of its type in the area within the last week, however, it is not yet known if the two are connected.
A pupil of Scoil Mhuire Senior School in Clonsilla was allegedly approached by a man at about 16:00 last Wednesday.
Parents have been asked to speak to their children about safety while out and about.

Man Arrested Over Limerick Shooting
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Limerick. A 42-year-old man received gunshot injuries after a male approached premises and shot him on Saturday at approximately 2pm. The man was taken to Limerick University Hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Calls have been made for the resignation of the chairman of a Catholic primary school board in south Co Dublin after he distributed leaflets for an anti-abortion rally to the pupils of his school. Mr Shaw distributed the leaflets for the Vigil for Life rally being held in Dublin on June 08.

Another County Cavan school has witnessed an outbreak in suspected swine flu, it has emerged today. Breffni College in Cavan town contacted the HSE yesterday after a number of pupils appeared to come down with flu-like symptoms.
